Isobar® heatpipes are super isothermal conductors that do not require electrical power to transfer energy at rates in excess of 10,000 times the speed of metals.
 
Acrolab manufactures a unique stepped heatpipes, the Isostep™. These unique stepped heatpipes are designed to get into difficult and challenging geometries.
Widely used in composite molds and dies in the medical industry the Isostep™ has many other uses where uniform intimate thermal connection energy transfer is required.

The Isobaffle [Finned Heatpipes]

Isobaffles™ allow the mold designer greater flexibility for positioning cooling lines in locations remote from complex core and cavity inserts, thus simplifying tool design and eliminating seals required to prevent coolant leakage. Water lines that are uninhibited by bubblers and bafflers also permit faster turbulent flow that minimizes mineral deposits and promotes a higher level of effective heat removal. Because Isobar® and Isobaffle systems eliminate the need for bubblers and baffles which are associated with such problems as “o ring” leakage, mineral build-ups, pressure drops, uneven cooling and complex water line designs, maintenance requirements and problems – which can result in unscheduled downtime – are significantly reduced or eliminated.

The Isobal® [Ball Radiused Heatpipes]

Isobar® heatpipes are super isothermal conductors that do not require electrical power to transfer energy at rates in excess of 10,000 times the speed of metals.  Acrolab manufactures a unique ball radiused heatpipe, the Isobal®. These unique ball radiused heatpipes are designed to be installed in holes with matching ball radii. Not only does the radius prevent stress cracks from forming but it offers a more intimate, transfer of thermal energy allowing for optimum energy flow. Widely used in composite molds and dies the Isobal® has many other uses where uniform intimate thermal connection energy transfer is required.
